Brenda had pretty much her usual activities during the month. She went hiking one weekend for about four miles with Robin, Rosemary, Judge O’Farrell and Virginia. The other weekends she rode for thirteen or fourteen miles with Robin, Ann, Rosemary and Jim.
Brenda’s friend Rosemary made a couple of comments that I think you will find quite interesting:
‘We had a fun walk with Brenda today and it was nice to see Virginia
(also Robin and O’Farrell were there). Brenda looked really good and her walking seems to be getting alittle more fluid all the time. We took only two breaks, largely at Robin’s insistence. I often ask Brenda if she remembers her dreams. She usually says no. But today she told me she has had two dreams recently: one of doing soldering while making stained glass. And one of skiing. I thought that was pretty cool since these are activities she has always enjoyed.’
Brenda sent an E-mail for Father’s Day saying ‘I had my trike ride yesterday with Robin and Ann and realized that I was involved in the conversation!!! What I mean is that they weren’t just ralking with me listeneing but I was able to follow what was being said quick enough to ask questions and respond!
Also, I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and say, “God hears you!”
If anyone wants to know what request I currently have, it’s this: Please pray for the return of my memories (I have both post-traumatic and pre-traumatic amensia).’
